That was an awesome game which for some reason had me in a completely different world of fantasy, imagining an Owl and a Pussycat.Everything seemed to be going White`s way, forever and a day until………….that`s right I half remembered Edward Lear a misquote `Oh! what beautiful a swindler you are, Oh! what a swindler you are`
Maybe 26 Rxh7 should have been played.
Quickly played through this and wondered whether White could 29. Bc4 ?
If 29…dxc4 30 Qxc4.White is surely winning

It was deeply flawed (as most of my games are), but a swindle is a swindle.
27. Rxh7 for White looks good to me.
That would indeed have done me in.
You shouldn’t have agreed the draw, Steve! After 33.Kh3 Qe3+ 34.Kh2 Qe1 forces mate. 34…Qf4+ also wins.
A case of being so happy to escape certain defeat that I didn’t see the win.
