This was a very closely fought match that could have gone either way. Ray King was last to finish, getting a draw, and securing an important victory.
The final position in my game was completely lost. My opponent offered me a draw and I gratefully took it. Moral of this story? Buy a good endgame chess book and read it! I have played 3 competitive games of chess in the past 20 years and won 2 drawn positions and drawn one lost position in the ending! Hope things get easier, this is exhausting!
Actually I won on Board 4…
Apologies. Error corrected 🙂 The correct score was sent to Tony Perry on the night you will be glad to know.
